Young people

Children explored the church seasons during Vacation Bible School 2014.

Both All Saints’ Church and St. George’s Chapel invite parents to raise children of faith.

Parish Youth Group

teensThe Parish Youth Group, currently 20 kids strong has been meeting the 2nd and 4th Mondays from 6-8 p.m. at St. George’s parish hall.  The young people enjoy some fellowship as they share a meal and then have discussion on such topics as self-esteem and bullying.

If you know of a young person grades 6th to 12th grade who would be interested in participating in a safe and inviting community of youth with adult leaders, please contact the parish office at 227-7202.  It is not a requirement that the person be affiliated with either of our churches.  All youth are welcome!

Sunday School

All Saints’ Church offers Sunday School for children ages 3 through 12 years from September through May with a summer break. Sunday School begins at 9:45 with children joining the 10 am worship service during the Sharing of the Peace. Nursery care for children under 3 years is available during the 10 a.m. service.

St. George’s Chapel offers nursery care for very young children during the 9:30 service. The nursery is staffed by parishioner volunteers and is housed in the parish hall, just across from the chapel. Sunday School is offered for children age 3 years to 3rd grade beginning at 9:15 a.m. The children join the service during the Sharing of the Peace.

Anyone interested in helping with this ministry at either church should contact the parish office at 227-7202.
