Opportunities to Serve

Logo for Clothing Our Kids

Our weekly worship services are brought to life through the dedication and heart of our volunteers. If you’re looking for a way to connect and serve, there are many roles where you can make a difference! You could be an Acolyte, assist with the Altar Guild, help share Communion as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, read scripture as a Lector, sing in the Choir, welcome guests as an Usher, or bring joy to others by hosting Breakfast or Coffee Hour.

Every role is an opportunity to share your gifts and become part of a welcoming community. We warmly invite you to volunteer and serve alongside us, sharing in the joy of creating a welcoming worship experience for all. You can find more informaton about these roles on our Worship Ministries page

For more information or to volunteer, please call the Parish Office: 302-227-7202.

Community Outreach

We invite you to help out with our community outreach activities:

Clothing Our Kids

Collecting NEW clothing for school-aged children

The mission fo Clothing Our Kids is to impove the lives of at-risk Head Start through High School students by providing them with new school clothing. Not having essential clothing has a direct negative impact on children's self-esteem, attendance, and ability to learn, and can lead to bullying. COK's goal is to assist these youngsters with an equal start in their education and to help them become successful students.

New clothing donations can be dropped off in the designated boxes in either parish hall.

Blessed are you... Reading the Gospel of Matthew

Bbile graphic

Mondays at 6 pm beginning January 12

All Saints' Church Parish Hall

Led by The Rev. Celeste Cox

Matthew is a work of inclusive synthesis:  a Gospel that reflects a community in transition.  Matthew’s Jewish-Christian community encountered more and more Gentiles drawn to the promise of salvation in the Risen Lord.  Thus we encounter the mission of Jesus evolving as it moves forward to embrace all seekers.  In Matthew, this evolution is presented as the fulfillment of God’s promises in the Hebrew scriptures. Tradition is holding but being stretched!

All are welcome, no experience necessary, no registration needed. For more info, contact Celeste Cox:  Celeste127@verizon.net

Bible Study: Book of Genesis

Tuesdays at 2 pm

We will dive back into the Old Testament with the start of the Abraham and Sarah family line. This Bible Study encourages an open mind to understand how God works in all our lives today and has throughout history. No previous study is needed. We gather, learn and share. Come and join our community discussion.

to enter mystery, that place

that lies in stillness, open to the Spirit.

Thrift Shop New Location

Announcing an exciting new venture for our Thrift Outreach Ministries:

With the commitment of our past and current vestries, parishioners, thrift staff and volunteers, and most assuredly our customers, we have purchased a new retail location of great potential to be opened mid-year 2026. The new property, made up of three separate buildings located at 26804 Lewes-Georgetown Hwy, Harbeson, DE, will be transformed from its current custom furniture sales business into a newly envisioned Parish Thrift Shop ministry for years to come. Parish Thrift Harbeson will join our Parish Thrift Midway location as our two anchor stores. The current property in Rehoboth will be closing sometime on 2026 as the current owner repurposes the land for a planned housing community.

Parish Vision Journey

The Vestry has initiated a vision journey to look ahead 5 to 10 years to imagine parish life from its current state of growth. This year-long project will build from the recently completed 5-year plan which laid the needed infrastrucure for vibrant lay ministires and parish life.

The following parishioners from every corner of our current ministries have been asked to represent and guide us: Mark Barbone, Daria DiSabatino, Helen Hoart, Rutland Paal, Lisa Scholl, and Barbara Villwock along with Maurice Seaton, a Faith Facilitator with Core Capital Campaigns.

The parish will be called upon to offer insights and feedback along the way. Please keep our visioning team and this project in prayer that we may enter the conversation with love and grace.
