The Rev. Judith L. Rhodes

Priest Associate
The Reverend Judith L. Rhodes currently serves as Priest Associate at the Parish of All Saints' Church & St. George's Chapel. Previously, she served two congregations in San Antonio, Texas, Church of Reconciliation and St. George's Church and School. Prior to moving to Texas, Judith served as the Rector of Emmanuel Church, West Roxbury, MA, St. Mary's Church, Ardmore, PA, and St. Paul's Church, Fairfield CT.

A former learning disabilities specialist in the Cambridge, MA, Public Schools, Judith feels extraordinarily blessed by those who have mentored her along this journey of teaching and ministry in the Episcopal Church. She is especially grateful for the courageous and faithful ministry of the Roman Catholic Sisters whose lives of witness in service to Jesus Christ left a deep imprimatur on a young girl's heart that remains to this very day.

Judith earned her Master of Divinity in 1991 from Harvard Divinity School and will celebrate her 30th anniversary to the priesthood on May 21, 2024. She is married to Ms. Martha Hughes, a Nurse Practitioner, and they will celebrate their 25th anniversary of the Blessing of their Union on June 19, 2024. Judith has three adult children and together, she and Martha are blessed with four grandsons, all of whom live on the east coast.

Judith is thrilled to serve alongside the extraordinary staff and people of All Saints' Church & St. George's Chapel.
When love is the way, we will let justice roll down like a mighty stream and righteousness like an ever-flowing brook.
When love is the way, poverty will become history.
When love is the way, the earth will be a sanctuary.
When love is the way, we will lay down our swords and shields, down by the riverside, to study war no more.
- The Most Rev. Michael B. Curry, Presiding Bishop &Primate of The Episcopal Church
